What We’re Missing Right Now
Too often, decisions are made behind closed doors. Most residents never hear about them until it’s too late. Council agendas come and go. Budgets are passed. But the average person is left guessing. I’ve seen how that disconnect makes people feel like they don’t matter. It leads to frustration and mistrust.
Ward 3 deserves better. I’ve spoken to neighbors who didn’t know when a vote was happening or how to attend a meeting. Many didn’t even know they could speak at a session. When information isn’t shared, power stays in the hands of a few. I want to change that. You have a right to understand how your government works.
Here’s What I’ll Do About It
I will publish regular updates for Ward 3. These updates will include what was voted on, where money is going, and what’s next. I’ll send them by email, post them online, and make them easy to read. You shouldn’t need a law degree to understand what your council is doing.
I’ll also fight for open budget dashboards, recorded meetings, and better communication between council and residents. If you call or email, I will respond. If you have a question, I will get you an answer. My job is to serve — not hide. I want you to feel confident that someone is finally working for you, not around you.
