Cleaner Communities Make Us All Feel Proud
Trash, blight, and neglect should never define a neighborhood. Ward 3 deserves clean streets and consistent code enforcement.
The Problems We Keep Seeing
We all see it. Overflowing dumpsters, abandoned properties, overgrown lots, and illegal dumping. It hurts our property values, our sense of pride, and our safety. I hear it all the time from neighbors. They’ve called in complaints. They’ve waited for follow-ups. And most of the time, nothing happens.
The problem is not just trash. It’s a lack of follow-through. When our streets are dirty and no one is held responsible, it sends the message that no one cares. That is not the Riverdale I believe in. Ward 3 residents have every right to live in a clean, well-kept neighborhood. We need consistent enforcement and real solutions, not empty promises.
How I’ll Lead the Cleanup
I will push for stronger code enforcement across all areas of Ward 3. That includes holding property owners accountable when they let homes or lots fall apart. I’ll also push for city crews to respond faster and clean up issues that are the city’s responsibility. No more excuses.
I also believe in bringing people together. I’ll organize seasonal cleanup drives with volunteers, churches, schools, and local businesses. We can make this a team effort. When people see visible change, they start to believe in the process again. I want to restore pride to our blocks, one cleanup at a time.
Let’s Build a Better Ward 3, Together
I can’t do this alone. Whether you volunteer, donate, or spread the word, your support makes a difference.
