Safer Neighborhoods Start With Trust and Action
Everyone in Ward 3 deserves to feel safe at home, in the street, and at the park. No one should feel forgotten.
What’s Happening in Our Neighborhoods
Many neighbors tell me the same thing. They don’t feel seen. They don’t feel heard. They rarely see a patrol car in their neighborhood unless something has already gone wrong. That is a problem. It’s not just about law enforcement. It’s about feeling protected, respected, and supported where we live.
Some parts of Ward 3 feel looked after while others feel left out. That is not right. I have heard from parents who are afraid to let their kids walk alone. I’ve spoken to seniors who stay inside once the sun goes down. I understand the fear. I live here too. We should not have to live like this.
What I’ll Do to Change That
Safety starts with being present. I will fight for more patrols where we need them most. Not just near highways or main roads, but on our actual neighborhood streets. I want to see officers who know our names, walk our blocks, and understand our families. That kind of presence helps stop problems before they begin.
I will also support programs that keep our youth active and connected. After-school activities, mentoring, and safe community events help everyone. I want to create space for regular safety forums where neighbors and police can meet, talk, and solve issues together. We all want the same thing — to feel safe and proud of where we live.
Let’s Build a Better Ward 3, Together
I can’t do this alone. Whether you volunteer, donate, or spread the word, your support makes a difference.
